From hormonal shifts to menopause, from skin changes to the natural process of ageing. Every woman's journey is unique, and so is the way we care for you
You've probably Googled your symptoms at midnight. You've sat in appointments feeling rushed, dismissed, or told it's just stress. You've wondered if what you're feeling is really that serious or if you're just supposed to push through it.
You're not. And you shouldn't have to.
This is a space where your symptoms are taken seriously, your experience is believed, and your care is built entirely around you
This is where it starts with someone actually listening
At our women's health clinic in Elwood, Join our Medical Team for a dedicated 60-minute consultation designed to support you through every stage of womanhood from hormonal changes and skin health, to perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.
This appointment gives you the space to explore your concerns in depth, while receiving expert guidance tailored to your individual needs.
Your consultation includes:
A comprehensive health and lifestyle assessment
Discussion of hormonal, skin, and ageing concerns
A personalised treatment and care plan, including supplement and therapy recommendations
Ongoing medical oversight and nurse-led support to guide you through your journey
If you've been told your symptoms are normal, left appointments feeling unheard, or been made to feel like you're overreacting, that's not the care you deserved.
We won't do that here.
We see what you're going through. We know how exhausting it is to advocate for yourself. And we believe that understanding your body, really understanding it.
Changes everything.
Menopause doesn't have to feel like losing yourself.
You might be waking at 3am drenched in sweat. Your mood might feel like it belongs to someone else. Your skin, your hair, your energy. All quietly shifting in ways nobody warned you about.
This is perimenopause and menopause. And while it's a natural transition, that doesn't mean you have to white-knuckle your way through it.
Some of what you might be experiencing:
Hot flushes or night sweats disrupting your sleep
Mood changes, anxiety, or a feeling of not quite being yourself
Skin that feels drier, thinner, or less like yours
Hair thinning or loss
Weight changes that don't respond the way they used to
A general sense that your body is changing faster than you can keep up
Every woman's experience is different. Which is why we don't offer a one-size-fits-all solution, we offer yours.
At The Elwood Clinic, we'll sit with you, go through your history, and build an integrative plan that combines medical care, skin health, and supportive therapies designed around exactly where you are right now.
You don't have to navigate this alone.
Your Questions, Answered
-
Your first appointment is a dedicated 60-minute consultation, not a rushed 15-minute GP visit.
We take the time to understand your full health history, your symptoms, your lifestyle, and what's been getting in the way. From there, a personalised care plan is built around you which may include a combination of medical, nutritional, skin and therapeutic support depending on what's most appropriate for your circumstances.
-
No referral needed, ever. Unlike seeing a specialist through the traditional system, you don't need your GP to send you to us first.
You book directly, and our in-house medical practitioners manage everything from your very first appointment.
If you have existing pathology results or letters from other practitioners, you're welcome to bring those along, but they're not required to get started. Our expert team of Hormone and Menopause doctors are able to order any testing required
-
We support women across a broad range of hormonal concerns including perimenopause, menopause, irregular or heavy cycles, hormonal mood changes, fatigue, weight shifts, and skin changes driven by hormonal fluctuations.
Our in-house doctors and nursing team work together to assess where your hormones are at and build a plan that addresses what's actually driving your symptoms.
-
Yes. Our in-house medical team can arrange targeted pathology testing directly, no external referral required.
Where clinically appropriate, we test for oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid function, and other relevant markers. Results are reviewed with you in detail by our doctors, and your treatment plan is adjusted accordingly.
-
Yes and this is one of the key advantages of having our own in-house medical team.
Where clinically appropriate following a thorough assessment, our doctors can discuss and prescribe evidence-based hormonal therapies to support symptom management.
You don't need to go back to your GP, wait for a specialist referral, or navigate the system alone. Everything is managed by our team, in clinic, with continuity of care at every step.
The options available to you and whether they're suitable are discussed openly and honestly at your consultation, based on your individual health history, symptoms, and goals.
-
Yes and you've come to the right place.
Hormone therapies, including those used to support women through perimenopause and menopause, are among the options our doctors can assess, discuss and prescribe directly.
You don't need an external referral or a separate specialist appointment, our medical team handles this as part of your ongoing care at The Elwood Clinic.
Whether a hormonal approach is appropriate for you depends on your individual history, symptoms, and clinical suitability, something we explore thoroughly at your consultation, without pressure and without a predetermined answer. If you've been curious about what's available, your consultation is exactly the right place to bring those questions.

This is one of the most common things we hear and it's exactly why having an in-house medical team makes a difference.
Standard reference ranges don't always capture how an individual woman functions at her best. Our doctors go beyond checking whether numbers fall within range. We look at your full picture: symptoms, history, lifestyle, results and work with you to understand what's actually going on.
If something isn't right, we have the clinical depth and the time to find out why and the medical team in place to act on it directly.
-
It is never too late. Many women come to us after years of managing symptoms alone often having been told things would settle, or having tried options that didn't work.
Our in-house medical team can assess where you are right now and build a plan from there.
Wherever you are in your hormonal journey, the right support can make a meaningful difference to how you feel day to day and you shouldn't have to wait any longer to find it.

Absolutely and for many of our patients, this is exactly where the real value lies.
Because our doctors, nurses and naturopath work together under one roof, your hormonal health and your skin health can be addressed simultaneously as part of a single integrated plan. Treating both in parallel rather than separately, consistently delivers better outcomes for our patients.
